Ingredients
  

  • 2 large apples (peeled & sliced) 🍏
  • 2 eggs πŸ₯š
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk πŸ₯›
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preparation Steps:
    Prep the Apples – Peel, core, and slice apples thinly. Set aside.
    Mix Wet Ingredients – Whisk eggs and sugar until frothy, then add milk, oil, and vanilla extract.
    Combine Dry Ingredients – In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
    Make the Batter – Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
    Assemble – Grease a pan, pour half the batter, layer apples, then add the rest of the batter and apples on top.
    Cook on Stovetop – Cover and cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
    Cool & Serve – Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy! 🍰

Notes

✨ For extra flavor, try adding chopped nuts or a drizzle of honey.

✨ If flipping is tricky, slide the cake onto a plate first, then invert it back into the pan.
